Hello everybody, I hope you're all well. Now I don't know what has taken me so long to do it, but I have finally made a dAPortfolio My Portfolio This will be really useful when I need to show those who haven't heard of DeviantART my work since the name of the site can generate some very negative connotations. Those who haven't had a look at the portfolio maker really should, its such a great tool and so easy to use too!

Recently I bought a new Manfrotto 190XProB and  410 Head from ebay. All up I saved about 40% off recommended retail price in Australia (I'm never buying camera gear retail price again!). I've only had one shoot with it, but things are looking good so far. It's a touch on the heavy side thanks to the 410 head but it seemed very sturdy in the gusty conditions I was shooting in yesterday. All in all I think this kit will suit me very well for a long time to come. I hope everyone is doing well, Geoffrey :)

Hi Guys, I have decided to start a blog here. There is nothing much there currently but most of the time I put something new on dA I will also post it on my blog. I've started a blog for a few reasons a) When I want to show people who haven't heard of dA my work it can be embarassing telling them to look on "Deviant Art" and then having to explain that its not what the name suggests. And b) I'd be lying if I said my iminent subscription expiry didnt have something to do with it. I'd love for people to check it out. I won't stop posting on dA but I will be putting more time into the blog. Cheers :) Geoffrey
